About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in MES configuration for work orders, routing, WIP tracking, traceability, and quality workflows.
• Support integration of MES with machines and systems (SMT, AOI, SPI, THT, test stations).
• Handle basic machine data acquisition tasks—interfaces, protocols, and connectivity checks.
• Provide first-level MES support to Production, Quality, and Engineering users (dashboards, reports, transactions).
• Participate in UAT, testing, and rollout of MES enhancements or new modules.
• Monitor MES dashboards and highlight issues related to data, traceability, and shop-floor execution.
• Maintain documentation including user guides, checklists, and issue logs.
• Coordinate with IT/Automation teams for system upgrades, backups, and stability.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Instrumentation, or related fields.
• 1–4 years of MES/IIoT/automation experience (preferred in EMS/electronics assembly).
• Basic knowledge of SMT/PCBA processes, routing, and test workflows.
• Familiarity with SQL, dashboards, and data analysis tools is an advantage.
• Understanding of machine communication fundamentals (OPC, MQTT) is desirable.
