About the Role

SRK Techtronics is looking for Operators to support day-to-day production operations in SMT, Box Build, and MI (Manual Insertion) lines. The role requires basic technical knowledge, discipline, and the ability to follow work instructions to ensure quality output in a high-volume electronics manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities
For SMT
  • Operate and monitor SMT machines (Printer, Pick & Place, Reflow, SPI, AOI).
  • Load components, verify feeders, and ensure correct program selection.
  • Perform basic machine checks, line clearance, and visual inspection of boards.
  • Support changeovers and maintain proper line discipline.
For MI (Manual Insertion)
  • Perform manual component insertion as per BOM and work instructions.
  • Ensure correct polarity, orientation, and component placement.
  • Assist with wave/selective soldering preparation and post-solder inspection.
For Box Build
  • Support mechanical assembly, wiring, harnessing, fastening, and product assembly.
  • Follow torque requirements, visual inspection steps, and finishing standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and adherence to assembly checklists.
General Responsibilities
  • Follow SOPs, WI, ESD practices, safety rules, and quality standards.
  • Report defects, misplacements, or quality issues to the line leader/engineer.
  • Maintain basic production records, labels, and tracking logs.
  • Ensure workplace discipline and 5S on the shop floor.

Qualifications
  • Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation or related field.
  • 2–4 years of Component Engineering experience in EMS/electronics/PCBA industries.
  • Knowledge of component types, derating, packaging, reliability, and datasheet interpretation.
  • Basic understanding of SMT processes, MI operations, solderability, and Box Build fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with BOM/AVL tools, ERP, and compliance standards.
